Our ceramic canisters are carefully handcrafted from high-quality stoneware. Fired at high temperatures, the material is dense and durable. Every canister is suitable for food contact and tested by independent laboratories, for sugar, tea or spices as well as small treasures.

Shapes with meaning and history

Our canisters are also inspired by antiquity, such as the pyxis, the Greek lidded box, or the lebes gamikos, a vessel of the ancient wedding celebration. We translate these shapes into canisters for today's use, from the small sugar bowl to the large lidded jar as an eye-catcher on sideboard and table. Limited-edition, handcrafted individual pieces

Individual glaze variations and subtle nuances in shape that emerge during firing give each piece its own character. Our glazes range from clear, light tones to deep, striking color gradients.

Care and use

Canister and lid are dishwasher safe for standard household use. We recommend a gentle cycle; hand washing preserves the glaze and surface for longer. They are not suitable for microwave or oven use. Further information can be found in our FAQ.
