Our serving bowls, fruit bowls and serving platters are carefully handcrafted from high-quality stoneware. Fired at high temperatures, the material is dense, robust and made for festive occasions as well as everyday use. Every piece is suitable for food contact and tested by independent laboratories.

Shapes with meaning and history

Every XENIOS bowl has a model from antiquity: the kylix, the drinking bowl of the Greek banquet, the kantharos, the vessel of Dionysus, or the volute krater, in which wine and water were mixed. Versatile on the table

A large serving bowl holds salad, pasta or antipasti, a flat serving platter cheese, finger food or dessert. As a fruit bowl it becomes an eye-catcher in the kitchen or dining room, and with flowers or branches a centerpiece for any table setting.

Limited-edition, handcrafted individual pieces

Individual glaze variations and subtle nuances in shape that emerge during firing give each piece its own character. Our glazes range from clear, light tones to deep, striking color gradients that show off food and flowers.

Care and use

Our bowls are dishwasher safe for standard household use. We recommend a gentle cycle; hand washing preserves the glaze and surface for longer. They are not suitable for microwave or oven use.
